Synopsis
The Jungle Captive (1945) follows a biochemist obsessed with restoring life to the Ape Woman, using illicit experiments that drag his young assistant and a brutish henchman into a macabre plan of resurrection and transformation. As reanimated horrors and escalating violence engulf his isolated laboratory and the authorities close in, the line between science and madness dissolves into chaos. This horror blends mad science and grotesque menace in a lurid final chapter of Universal’s ape woman saga.
