Synopsis
The Jungle Captive (1945) follows a biochemist obsessed with restoring life to the Ape Woman, using illicit experiments that drag his young assistant and a brutish henchman into a macabre plan of resurrection and transformation. As reanimated horrors and escalating violence engulf his isolated laboratory and the authorities close in, the line between science and madness dissolves into chaos.
