Film Synopsis
The Defilers (1965) centers on two thrill-seeking young men whose search for excitement leads them to abduct an aspiring actress newly arrived in Los Angeles. Holding her captive in a warehouse basement, they subject her to escalating abuse as their pursuit of “kicks” takes an increasingly violent turn. This exploitation drama combines sexual provocation and cruelty with high-contrast black-and-white photography, emerging as an influential early example of the roughie cycle.
