Terror creeps from the fringe of fear to the pit of panic!

Film Synopsis

The Black Torment (1964) follows a nobleman who returns to his ancestral manor with his new wife, only to discover that the locals believe he had already returned earlier and committed brutal crimes. As ghostly apparitions of his first wife appear and strange deaths unfold around the estate, he begins to doubt his own sanity and the loyalty of those closest to him. This gothic horror thriller blends period atmosphere, psychological dread, and a sinister conspiracy in a dark study of suspicion, betrayal, and legacy.
