Film Synopsis
The Awakening (1980) follows a British archaeologist who uncovers the tomb of a powerful Egyptian queen and brings her remains back to London. As his young daughter begins to exhibit disturbing behavior and signs of possession, a trail of deaths and accidents suggests the queen’s curse has revived. This British horror drama blends occult mystery and family tragedy in a tale of reincarnation and fatal obsession.
