Film Synopsis
Neither the Sea Nor the Sand (1972) follows a recently divorced woman who retreats to Jersey and falls in love with a quiet lighthouse‑keeper, only for him to suddenly die on a Scottish beach. When he inexplicably returns, she must confront the dark reality that his resurrection is not quite what she imagined. This folk-horror romance blends ghostly melancholy and slow-burning dread in a haunting study of love, loss, and the price of bringing someone back from the dead.

- 88 Films’ “Tigon Collection” Blu-ray includes a 20-page booklet with writing by Barry Forshaw (“Love Beyond Death: Neither the Sea Nor the Sand”) and Andrew Graves (“Neither the Sea Nor the Sand”).
- Odeon’s “The Best of British Collection” DVD includes an 8-page booklet and no extras. It is also available in “The British Horror Film Collection” box set with Blue Blood (1974) and The Legacy (1978).
