The flame of her love burned brightest in the shadow of the grave.
Living Doll (1990) follows a shy morgue worker who watches the woman he loves die after a tragic accident and, unable to let go, takes her body from the hospital to live with it as if she were still alive. As the corpse decays and his grasp on reality erodes amid unsettling solitude and intrusive visitors, obsession and denial spiral into a macabre descent. This British horror drama blends necrophilic fixation and psychological dread in a grim tale of love twisted into madness and decay.
