Film Synopsis
Flowers in the Attic (1987) centers on four siblings who move with their widowed mother to the secluded mansion of her wealthy, estranged parents. Kept hidden from their dying grandfather while their mother attempts to regain her inheritance, the children endure prolonged confinement under the control of their cruel and deeply religious grandmother. This Gothic thriller combines family secrets, isolation, religious fanaticism, and psychological torment with an increasingly oppressive atmosphere.
