A mind so evil it could lock its terrible secret inside a beautiful body
Crucible of Terror (1971) follows a troubled young woman who becomes entangled with a reclusive sculptor whose isolated estate hides violent and obsessive impulses. As psychological manipulation and sexual menace intensify, the boundaries between artistic creation, domination, and cruelty begin to dissolve. This British exploitation thriller blends gothic isolation and sadistic undertones in a bleak portrait of control and entrapment.
