Film Synopsis
Black Friday (1940) centers on a physician who performs a daring operation to save the life of an injured college professor. As the patient begins exhibiting the memories and impulses of a slain gangster, the procedure draws its participants into an increasingly dangerous conflict with the criminal underworld. This science fiction horror film explores divided consciousness, ethical compromise, and the unintended consequences of radical medical research.

- Umbrella’s Blu-ray is included in the “Universal Horror: Monsters & Curiosities” box set. It contains a 100-page booklet and ten art cards.
