Synopsis
Baba Yaga (1973) centers on a fashion photographer whose life begins to change after meeting an enigmatic woman who calls herself Baba Yaga and claims a strange connection to her destiny. As vivid dreams, unsettling erotic fantasies, and increasingly bizarre occurrences intensify around her while a mysterious doll and a series of supernatural suggestions blur the boundaries between reality and imagination, she becomes trapped within a web of obsession and manipulation. This Italian-French horror film examines desire and psychological control within a surreal contemporary world, as personal boundaries erode, with occult influence, fetishistic imagery, and dreamlike uncertainty.
