Synopsis
Night of the Damned (1971) centers on a journalist who receives a desperate plea for help from a dying aristocratic friend living in an isolated castle haunted by a dark family history. As mysterious deaths, occult rituals, and evidence of a centuries-old witch intensify around the estate while he investigates a series of murders connected to the noble family, the secrets behind the curse gradually begin to emerge. This Italian gothic horror film examines supernatural evil and hereditary doom within a decaying aristocratic world, as fear begins to overtake reason, with witchcraft, ancestral curses, and ghostly retribution.
