Synopsis
They Have Changed Their Face (1971) centers on a businessman invited to meet the elusive head of a powerful corporation at an isolated estate hidden from the outside world. As strange behavior among employees, increasingly unsettling signs of social control, and revelations about the corporation’s true nature intensify while he attempts to understand the forces governing the estate, he finds himself trapped within a system that extends far beyond ordinary business influence. This Italian satirical horror film examines consumerism and corporate power within a surreal modern landscape, as personal autonomy gradually gives way to conformity, with social manipulation, technological control, and vampiric symbolism.
