Film Synopsis
An unhappily married Italian woman relocates with her husband to a Caribbean island and befriends a local woman who initiates her into the sensual rituals of a serpent‑worshipping voodoo cult. Initially skeptical, she soon finds herself utterly entranced by Djamballà, the serpent god, whose erotic power reignites her desires and shifts her allegiance. As her obsession deepens, the boundaries between love, ritual, and mysticism dissolve—leaving her transformed both spiritually and emotionally.
