The Child (1977) tells of a young woman who becomes the caretaker for a strange little girl living in a remote countryside home. As eerie events unfold, she discovers the child possesses a terrifying power to summon the undead to avenge her mother’s death. This low-budget horror combines gothic atmosphere, rural isolation, and a haunting sense of supernatural menace.
