Film Synopsis
The Bat (1959) chronicles a mystery writer who rents an isolated country house despite reports that a masked killer known as the Bat is active in the area. As the threat moves closer to home, rumors of stolen securities hidden on the property bring suspicious visitors and competing motives into the investigation. This old-dark-house mystery builds suspense around hidden wealth and uncertain identities, turning an imposing mansion into a confined setting where nearly everyone becomes a potential suspect.
