Film Synopsis
The Screaming Skull (1958) follows a wealthy newlywed who moves with her husband to his isolated country estate where his first wife died under mysterious circumstances. As she begins experiencing visions of a skull and other disturbing phenomena, she becomes convinced the dead woman’s spirit is haunting the property while her sanity is questioned by those around her. This horror film blends gothic atmosphere, psychological manipulation, and ghost-story ambiguity while examining trauma, greed, and emotional control.
