The coach is waiting for his next beer. The pitcher is waiting for her first bra. The team is waiting for a miracie. Consider the possibilities.
Synopsis
The Bad News Bears (1976) follows a washed-up ex-minor league pitcher hired to coach the worst team in a Southern California Little League division. As the mismatched group of inexperienced players struggles against stronger opponents, the reluctant coach gradually molds them into a competitive team while confronting the league’s intense pressure to win. This sports comedy blends irreverent humor, underdog spirit, and social satire in a story about teamwork and the meaning of competition.
