It’s survival of the fiercest, and the funniest.

Synopsis

The Longest Yard (1974) follows a former professional football quarterback serving time in prison who is pressured by the warden to organize a football team made up of inmates. As the prisoners prepare to face the heavily favored team of guards, the quarterback must unite a group of reluctant and undisciplined players. This sports comedy drama blends rough humor, rebellion against authority, and competitive spectacle in a story of inmates challenging a corrupt system.
