They never met an adult they couldn’t drive crazy.
Synopsis
The Bad News Bears Go to Japan (1978) follows a hustling promoter who sees a money-making opportunity in escorting the misfit Little League team to Japan for a highly publicized exhibition game. As the inexperienced players travel overseas to face the country’s best youth team, cultural misunderstandings and off-field adventures complicate their journey toward the big matchup. This sports comedy blends underdog competition, culture-clash humor, and youthful mischief in a lighthearted sequel about a team out of its depth on an international stage.
