Film Synopsis
Sssssss (1973) centers on a college student who takes a job assisting a herpetologist and begins receiving injections supposedly intended to protect him from snakebites. As disturbing physical changes emerge, he remains unaware that his employer is secretly using him in an experiment designed to transform a human into a snake. This science fiction horror film combines body transformation and scientific obsession with an unsettling array of live snakes, giving its increasingly grotesque premise a tangible sense of danger.
