Synopsis
Spaceways (1953) centers on a scientist working within a secret British satellite project whose troubled marriage becomes entangled with espionage and murder after his wife vanishes alongside another researcher. As suspicions surrounding sabotage, infidelity, and hidden bodies aboard a failed rocket launch intensify while security investigators close in on the accused engineer, the case expands into a race to expose espionage and clear his name before the next launch. This British science fiction thriller examines paranoia and personal betrayal within an early Cold War space program, as suspicion spreads, with espionage, marital conflict, and technological ambition.
