Film Synopsis
Side Street (1949) follows a struggling New York mail carrier who impulsively steals what he believes is a small sum of money, only to discover he has stumbled into a dangerous criminal scheme. As he races to undo his mistake, he becomes hunted by both the police and ruthless underworld figures, tightening the noose around his already precarious life. This crime-noir thriller blends urban tension and moral desperation in a stark portrait of an ordinary man cornered by circumstance.
