Synopsis
Flight to Mars (1951) centers on the crew of the first successful expedition to Mars, who discover an advanced underground civilization struggling to survive as its natural resources dwindle. As their seemingly gracious hosts secretly plan to seize the Earth spacecraft and use it to reach a new world, the visitors must uncover the truth before they are prevented from returning home. This science fiction adventure blends space exploration, Cold War allegory, and planetary romance as diplomacy, survival, and competing visions of humanity’s future shape a suspenseful interplanetary encounter.
