Synopsis
Five (1951) follows a woman wandering through a deserted landscape after a devastating atomic disaster seemingly wipes out most of humanity. As she encounters four other survivors at a remote house, the group attempts to understand what has happened and how they might survive in a changed world. This science fiction drama blends post-apocalyptic speculation, social conflict, and Cold War anxieties about nuclear war.
