Brian De Palma, master of the macabre, invites you to a showing of the latest fashion… in murder.
Film Synopsis
Dressed to Kill (1980) chronicles a dissatisfied New York housewife whose search for intimacy takes an unsettling turn after a visit to her psychiatrist. Her path becomes connected with that of a call girl who is drawn into a murder investigation involving an elusive killer and the woman’s inquisitive teenage son. This psychological thriller builds suspense through voyeurism and deceptive appearances, shifting perspectives as desire and observation repeatedly complicate the distinction between what is seen and what is understood.
