Al Pacino is Cruising for a killer.

Synopsis

Cruising (1980) follows an undercover New York City police officer sent into the city’s clandestine gay S&M clubhouse scene to track a serial killer preying on gay men. As he immerses himself in the underground subculture and his personal relationships begin to strain under the psychological weight of the assignment, tension mounts between his official role and the ambiguous moral terrain he navigates. This crime thriller blends gritty urban pursuit with uneasy exploration of identity and subculture in a tense, controversial portrait of pursuit and unease.
