Film Synopsis
Dressed to Kill (1941) chronicles a private detective preparing to marry his fiancée when a double murder at a neighboring hotel draws him into another investigation. The victims’ theatrical costumes point toward a stage production from twenty-five years earlier, leading him through a circle of former performers and long-standing secrets. This crime mystery builds its whodunit around theatrical clues and buried connections, bringing the remnants of an old production into a present-day search for a killer.
