Film Synopsis
Castle of Evil (1966) centers on several former associates of a reclusive scientist invited to his remote island estate following his apparent death in a laboratory accident. As a séance-like reading of the will reveals that one of the guests may have murdered the scientist and mysterious deaths begin spreading through the castle while a robotic double stalks the corridors, paranoia and suspicion steadily overtake the isolated gathering. This horror mystery film examines greed and concealed guilt within an old dark house setting shaped by science fiction elements, as fear begins to overtake reason, with inheritance intrigue, murderous deception, and mechanical terror.
