Film Synopsis
A*P*E (1976) follows a giant gorilla that escapes from a ship off the coast of South Korea and begins a destructive rampage across the country. As military forces attempt to stop the creature, it encounters and abducts an American actress working on a film in Seoul. This South Korean-American monster film combines giant-creature action, broad adventure, and low-budget spectacle in an eccentric variation on the giant-ape formula.
