Film Synopsis
A Weekend with Lulu (1961) follows a young couple planning a romantic seaside getaway whose trip is derailed when the woman’s domineering mother insists on coming along. As a series of mishaps leaves them stranded in France without money or passports, misunderstandings and mounting panic turn their holiday into escalating farce. This British comedy blends travel misadventure and domestic satire in a lighthearted romp of romantic frustration and comic chaos.
