Film Synopsis
A Quiet Place in the Country (1968) follows a painter who retreats to a secluded villa in search of inspiration, only to be haunted by disturbing visions and spectral presences. As his grip on reality crumbles, obsession and madness lead him into violence and despair. This psychological horror blends surreal imagery, eerie atmosphere, and haunting mystery in a tale of art, insanity, and the supernatural.
