  She was certainly seen as a prestige project for Hammer. … But despite its epic scale, exotic locales and great cast, it’s one of Hammer’s duller films of the period. The first half of the film is largely made up of a seemingly endless slog through the desert when all we really wanted was to get to the lost city and get on with the story.
