Film Synopsis
Topkapi (1964) follows a petty con man who is recruited to help transport equipment for a daring theft targeting a museum treasure in Istanbul. When authorities intercept him at the border, he is pressured into secretly informing on the gang planning the robbery while still participating in their scheme. This crime caper blends suspenseful heist plotting, exotic international settings, and comedic misadventure.
