Film Synopsis
When Eight Bells Toll (1971) follows British Treasury agent Philip Calvert as he investigates the mysterious disappearance of gold-laden cargo ships off the coast of Scotland. Posing as marine biologists in a small port town, he uncovers a sprawling conspiracy involving piracy, underwater smuggling, and double‑crossing insiders.
