Third Party Risk (1954) follows an American songwriter holidaying in Spain who agrees to deliver a friend’s car and retrieve an envelope after their sudden departure. After being attacked and later discovering the friend murdered in London, he realizes he is caught in a conspiracy involving stolen microfilm and criminal espionage. This British crime thriller blends exotic travel atmosphere, noir intrigue, and investigative suspense while examining deception, loyalty, and the dangers of misplaced trust.
