Film Synopsis
The Stranger Came Home (1954) follows a man who returns to England after four years missing and suffering from amnesia following a fishing trip with three companions. As he regains his memory and reconnects with his wife, one of the men connected to his disappearance is murdered, and suspicion falls on him while he tries to uncover who attacked him. This British crime thriller blends noir suspicion, psychological tension, and domestic betrayal while examining identity, memory, and hidden guilt.
