Film Synopsis
Face the Music (1954) follows an American jazz trumpeter performing in London who spends an evening with a nightclub singer shortly before she is found murdered. As circumstantial evidence implicates him and police close in, he investigates the city’s jazz clubs and recording studios to uncover the real killer and clear his name. This British crime thriller blends noir atmosphere, jazz-scene realism, and investigative suspense while examining suspicion, identity, and survival in an urban underworld.
