Film Synopsis
The Warrior and the Ninja (1985) follows the masked heroine Bajing Ireng, a noble outlaw who robs from the rich to give to the oppressed, as she teams up with the warrior Jaka Sembung to fight Dutch colonial forces and corrupt local rulers. As their alliance strengthens, they face treachery, supernatural martial artists, and brutal Dutch troops in a climactic battle for justice and freedom. This fantasy martial-arts action film blends swashbuckling swordplay, political resistance, and mysticism in a stirring tale of heroism and rebellion.

- Mondo Macabro’s “Limited Edition” Blu-ray is included in “The Warrior Collection” box set with The Warrior (1981) and The Warrior and the Blind Swordsman (1983). It contains a 16-page booklet with writing by Hikmat Darmawan. Reissued separately as a standard edition without booklet with The Warrior and the Blind Swordsman (1983) (2024/11/12).
