Any man… Any place… Any time!
Synopsis
The Lonely Woman (1973) centers on a fatherless young man whose possessive devotion to his socially ambitious mother complicates his search for independence. As she begins a new romantic relationship while he pursues a succession of affairs and ultimately enters a marriage motivated by wealth rather than love, their intertwined lives expose deep emotional conflicts and unfulfilled desires. This Spanish-French-Italian drama examines family, obsession, and emotional dependency within a world shaped by social ambition and personal longing, as love and possessiveness gradually give way to isolation, sacrifice, and disillusionment.
