Synopsis
The Labyrinth of Sex (1969) follows a psychoanalyst who guides viewers through dramatized case histories involving individuals driven by compulsive desires and psychological disturbances. As each episode reveals hidden impulses, fantasies, and destructive actions, the line between clinical analysis and voyeuristic observation becomes increasingly uncertain. This Italian pseudo-documentary drama blends psychoanalytic framing, episodic narrative, and mondo-style provocation while examining repression, deviance, and the social perception of sexuality.
