The Deadly Spawn

Poster of The Deadly Spawn

A meteor crashed on Earth… No one knew the mystery of the mutant spores inside!

The Deadly Spawn (1983) follows the outbreak of a horde of ravenous alien creatures that arrive on Earth inside a fallen meteor and quickly take over the basement of a typical suburban home, evolving and multiplying into increasingly deadly forms. As family members and visitors are stalked and consumed, a young horror-movie fan and his friends must confront the slug-like monstrosities for their own survival. This science-fiction horror blends grisly creature effects and claustrophobic terror in a gritty study of alien infestation and desperate resistance.
