Film Synopsis
The Boston Strangler (1968) places a state-appointed investigator at the head of a multi-agency manhunt after a series of women are murdered across Boston. With few reliable clues and growing pressure on the authorities, the inquiry passes through numerous suspects before narrowing its attention to one man. This fact-based crime procedural uses Boston locations and elaborate multiple-image compositions to evoke citywide alarm before tightening into a psychological study.
