In Cold Blood

Poster of In Cold Blood

The crime that shocked a nation.

Synopsis

In Cold Blood (1967) centers on two recently paroled criminals who set out to rob a prosperous farming family after receiving false information about a hidden safe filled with cash. As the robbery yields almost nothing while the senseless murders of the family trigger an exhaustive investigation led by the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, the fugitives flee across the United States and Mexico before mounting evidence closes in on them. This neo-noir biographical crime drama examines violence and justice through a stark recreation of one of America’s most infamous murder cases, as desperation, moral emptiness, and the consequences of criminal choices unfold with documentary-like realism.
