Synopsis
The Amityville Horror (1979) follows a young married couple who purchase a large house in Amityville where a family was recently murdered and soon encounter disturbing paranormal events. As unexplained phenomena intensify and the husband’s behavior grows increasingly erratic, the family struggles to remain in the house while a priest attempts to confront the evil presence within it. This supernatural horror film blends haunted house suspense, psychological tension, and religious themes in a story of a family confronting malevolent forces.
