Film Synopsis
The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938) follows a Saxon nobleman who defies Prince John’s rule and retreats to Sherwood Forest after being declared an outlaw. As he forms a band of followers and carries out raids against oppressive authorities, he confronts armed forces sent to capture him while working to restore rightful leadership. This swashbuckling adventure develops mounting pressure and shifting loyalties, with justice, rebellion, and personal code shaping events.
