Film Synopsis
The 300 Spartans (1962) portrays King Leonidas’s determination to unite the Greek city-states against the overwhelming forces of Xerxes as Persia advances toward conquest. As political divisions weaken the Greek response and an outnumbered band of warriors prepares for a desperate stand, courage and sacrifice become their greatest weapons. Blending historical drama with war epic adventure, the film examines leadership, honour, and collective resistance in its depiction of one of history’s most enduring military confrontations.
