A Hollywood story.
Film Synopsis
Sunset Boulevard (1950) follows a struggling screenwriter who, desperate and broke, hides from repossession by squirreling away in the mansion of a faded silent‑film star living in decadent isolation. As he becomes entangled in her delusions of glamour, his doubts and moral conflicts deepen, and the fantasy world she offers turns increasingly dangerous. This dark Hollywood noir blends biting satire and atmospheric despair in a haunting portrait of fame, decay, and desperation.
