Film Synopsis
She Played with Fire (1957) follows an insurance investigator who becomes involved with his ex-girlfriend, now married, as mysterious fires and suspicious deaths occur. As he investigates, he uncovers a web of arson, fraud, and potential murder, putting him in increasing danger. This British crime drama blends suspense, intrigue, and moral ambiguity in a tense story of deception and justice.
