Poppers (1984) follows a rock singer named Santos who, after killing his best friend, is released from prison and becomes the target of a deadly man‑hunt organized by the father of the victim. As Santos evades his pursuers, the chase transforms into a reversal of roles—he begins hunting those who hunted him. This Spanish thriller blends gritty revenge motifs and 1980s underground style in a stark tale of guilt, violence, and self‑destruction.
