Mystics in Bali (1981) follows an anthropologist who travels to Bali to research black magic and joins a cult known for practicing the power of the Leák. When she is tricked by the witch-queen and transformed into a flying vampiric head with organs trailing behind her, she must fight to reclaim her body and humanity. This cult Indonesian horror blends folkloric myth, outrageous supernatural imagery, and 1980s exploitation horror in a hauntingly bizarre tale of obsession and dark power.
